FAQ

  • How quickly can you respond?

We have numerous cleanup technicians and vehicles that can respond throughout Northern California 24 hours a day. We can usually be on scene within 45 minutes to an hour from the time we are requested. (Depending on Location)

  • Who pays for your service?

Our services are almost always covered by homeowners, commercial, and auto insurance policies. We can handle your claim from start to finish so you don’t have to. In cases of homicides, assaults and other crimes against people, the State of California will pay up to $1,000 for our services as well as up to $5000 for funeral services, counseling, lost wages, security system installation, and many other costs. Contact us to learn more about this invaluable program.

  • How much do you charge?

We receive this question a lot. Unfortunately we can’t give an accurate price without seeing the scene first. Until we know exactly what is involved, we won’t know our costs. The biggest factor in calculating our fees, is how many employees the job will need, how long they will be there, and how much bio-hazard disposal will be needed. We do offer free estimates anywhere in Northern California. Our prices are fair and reasonable. We will also beat any companies written estimate. Some companies are charging outrageous prices. Do not agree to any service until you have received an estimate from Bio Safety Clean! We will save you a lot of money, guaranteed.

  • Why Can’t I just have my employees clean up the blood?

(Federal Regulation 29CFR1910.1030) States: Your employees can only clean up blood, bodily fluids, bio hazard, or infectious waste if: 1)They have been formally trained in blood borne pathogens 2) You have a written blood borne pathogens plan. 3) Have personal protective equipment available. 4) Have been offered hepatitis vaccine with a follow up visit. 5) Provide them with proper method to remove, store, and legally dispose of bio-hazardous waste. Only after these steps are met, can an employee clean a bio-hazard scene.
